Light + LIft
Kids will love this solar powered portable STEM experience. When you plug the solar panel into this experimental box, you will see voltage coming in from the solar panel and the brighter the sun is, the higher the voltage is. When you see your shadow hit the panel, it will change how much electricity is coming into the experimental box. You’ll see the volts, amps, and watts for each one of the electrical loads: the LED bulb, CFL bulb, incandescent bulb and the Bernoulli Blower. The floating ping pong balls always seem to be the kid’s favorite part!
The Hover + Drop
We are excited to finally release our Hover + Drop: A Solar Reaction Display! It’s unlike anything out there because it uses LED lights as well as sunlight! As you block the panels, the balls drop. If you jump out of the way, the balls shoot up high into the air again. It’s such a fun way to interact with solar power. This one is headed to…

Earth Day - Phoenix, AZ
At last year’s Earth Day event, our booth showcased a fun and interactive way to generate clean energy using bicycle and hand crank generators. Passersby had the chance to hop on stationary bikes and experience firsthand how human-powered energy works. As they pedaled, they powered small devices like blenders and a floating ball, demonstrating just how simple and effective renewable energy can be!
