A typical example would be charging a 100 Amp hour battery with jumper cables. A person can put out about 7 Amps of current on a pedal power bike generator dynamo system . The time to charge a 100 Amp hour battery would be approximately 100 / 7 = ~ 14 hours of pedaling.
